My Love Letter to AderinSola

AderinSola my darling,

Today makes it exactly five years that you let me into your world! I have so much to be thankful to God for favouring me with you…..it’s a gift of Grace from God getting you. I am truly blessed of the Lord. Your presence in my life is a bright shining beacon for me to stay on the right path.  You have been with me these past years even when you deserved better, and you have shown me patience every day. 

A lot of people in my life have tried to change few things about me but it’s either they never succeeded or they achieved very little which is not commensurate with their efforts. But in your case, I don’t know how you got the wisdom to locate the password into the system of my life and gradually, I am becoming a better person.

·         You are teaching me to be calm and patient

·         You are teaching me to love you

·         You are teaching me to be gentle and not temperamental

·         You are teaching me to believe in myself the more and go for the things I believe

·         You are teaching me discipline

·         You are teaching me to bridle my tongue

·         You are teaching me to be organized

·         You are teaching me  to always let go of things that trouble my peace and our marriage

Am I not blessed among men? You have given me two beautiful and intelligent creatures! Who says I am not super blessed?

Our anniversary is a special day that we celebrate each year, but it is just one day. It is difficult to celebrate someone like you all in one day.  I want you to know that even when I am not saying it, I am celebrating you.  I want you to know that even when I am not saying it, I am thanking God that I have you.  You and I have spent time together and have really truly become one in the sense that even if we are quarrelling, we still have part of each other inside each of us.

I have hurt your feelings times without numbers, I have made you shed tears, you have gone through a lot for me, you have denied yourself a lot of comfort for my sake. Anytime I mess up, I feel so comfortable to run into your arms; not because I take you for granted but I know I will receive succor and encouragement that it’s not the end of the world. Anytime I have a goal to pursue, even when I don’t have the confidence to go through, you gently push me through. More importantly, you gave me your body…….You are simply amazing girl!
