Six Reasons Why I Think Couples Do Porn

                    

                                                                    

 

It’s not just enough for us to discover either of the partners could have been neck-deep into pornography but I believe part of the process to healing is to establish the root cause(s) as the case may be. Below are some of the reasons why married partners could have nose-dived into pornography.

 

1. Boredom: Men, especially seem to get bored easily and are not really good at coping with it. Porn, to some could be their idea of entertainment and an escape route from boredom when pushed to the wall.

 

2. Little or no satisfaction from the partner: Either of the couples could have jumped into pornography simply because sex in the bedroom is boring, unexciting and rigid which could be as a result of lack of creativity. It becomes worse if any of the parties is not willing to listen to the sexual complaints of the other party.

 

3. When infidelity involved: Infidelity can also be another cause for embracing a porn lifestyle. When a partner keeps more than one sexual partner, he or she has the tendency to begin exploration in order to step up his or her game in bed. For most of them, pornography is the only answer.

 

4. Marital problems: When there are unresolved issues among couples, It causes a lot of fracas which breeds frustration with each other. When couples get frustrated, they could start fiddling with the adult sites which eventually becomes a major rescue point for them.

 

5. Visual Stimulation: For anyone who knows much about men would know that images are a big source of stimulation. The way men's brains are wired sets them up for porn addiction. They enjoy sexual excitement and porn delivers!

 

6. Need to Relax: Most men aren't very good at relaxing. Many struggle with turning off their brains. Men often don't use good stress management techniques seeking a quick and easy solution to problems. Isn't there a pill I can take for this? Sure, look at a little porn….like any other form of addiction; it's a predictable way to soothe!
