Ladies, Please Come Down

"And Rebekah looked up, and when she saw Isaac, she dismounted from the carmel."

I want to use this golden opportunity to talk to the ladies. In case you don't know, you have a man in your life that you have to help reach his destination. That means you need to understand that your role in a man's life can't be underestimated! You're so important, very crucial to that guy's vision and purpose in life. If he fails to get it, you're part of the failure story, no matter what!

However, it is appalling that quite a number of ladies never get to this point in their lives needless to say that they are not fulfilled. Now, it may interest you that even as important and crucial as your role in a man's life is, you can't help that guy out and let him become whom God has destined him to be if you're not submissive to him! Quite a lot of ladies don't understand this. Looking critically at the scripture i quoted above, Rebekah was to go and meet Isaac for the first time, courtesy the servant and as soon as she sighted Isaac from afar, bible said she came down from her horse immediately. This act depicts respect and humility for the guy she was getting married to and this is the attitude i want all ladies to embrace on their journey to marital bliss.

Let me challenge you today that one of the reasons why you are still having terrible issues in that courtship/relationship/marriage (whatever the case maybe) of yours is that you are not yet humble yourself to the point of breaking your guy down. You have got lots of horses you are still riding in your life and you need to come down from them because they are detrimental to your marital bliss. Young woman, as soon as a man comes into you life, necessity is laid on you to adjust to his life style and come down from that horse of your career, tradition, attitudes, beliefs and characters that won't help you. Even horse of status and friends are not to be left out. Please come down from that horse of somewhat training you have had from your parents over the years which happens to be a taboo to your guy.

I've heard a lot of unmarried ladies making comments that there are no marriage materials in their local assembly or neighborhood. You know my answer to you if you fall into that category? Simply come down from your horse of pride and you'll see quite a lot of marriageable materials beneath! Sounds harsh and dispassionate right?

I am not saying you should now stripe yourself off your self worth and esteem (it takes a woman that has a healthy self esteem to be humble anyway). That's not what I'm saying for you can do all these and still have your self esteem intact (though it is your husband's responsibility to build up your self esteem)

Quite a lot of you still want to stick to the particular way your mama taught you to make stew, how to lay bed, how to spread cloth, bathing soap, care of the house etc which in the real sense were okay for your dad who happens to be the husband of your mum but your guy detests them! He is not married to your mum but you. He is now your father because man is the only creature that bears the same name with God i.e. FATHER. Try and see it as an attitude of pride if you are not ready to let go. Come down from those horses in Jesus name!

Do you even know how much of respect God places on your guy? Even, the bible recorded it that if a woman makes a vow and if at the point of redeeming the vow, the husband says no, because it is coming from the husband, God honors it and doesn't hold the woman accountable for defaulting! Ladies, if you understand this mystery, you'll come down from your horses for your guy's sake.

When a man and a woman become one, by God's design, the woman adjusts to the guy's lifestyle and not vice versa (I'm not talking about some low lifestyles that some guys have in them, you are to help them become better people, that's why you are the wife). And really, what most ladies dont understand is that just like Rebekah on the horse, the purpose was just to convey her to the point of meeting Isaac after which it's purpose was accomplished. That is why we never heard that Rebekah went back to that horse to ride into Isaac's, rather, Isaac took her in. Ladies, i am telling you categorically that what got you into that guy's heart is not strong enough to keep you there! It's just a horse, come down!

In conclusion, your body is your most treasured possession. Your body is very important and God holds your body in high esteem. Now if you can give your whole body to your man to be mounting at will, then what else should you not be able to let go out of humility for him?
