| Arrows miss bulls eye but never give up |
We are in the 8th month of this year and because I have a lot on my mind lately especially about this blog, I decided to share part of my thoughts with you to boost up your faith. Permit me to use the bible here please! In 2 Kings 4, from verse 7 down to 38, there is a story of a woman who had been barren for quite some time but in the later years, God decided to bless her with a boy. Somewhere along the line, tragedy struck, the boy fell sick and died! But something shocked me and thought me a great lesson there which I felt I should share with you, who knows, you could be blessed too.
Under normal condition, when an infant dies like that especially in Yoruba land due to the age, he is quickly buried. It’s a taboo to keep the dead body for more than a day so that the parents won’t have to keep seeing it but this woman defied that line of thought, she wasn’t quick in burying her dead son, rather, she took him upstairs to the room of the prophet and laid him there, locked the room and went to seek the man of God to come and pray. She travelled several miles which was even more than a day’s journey to go and come back seeking the man of God.
The woman could have accepted
her fate and just ask them to go bury the dead child but she didn’t. Now, this
is where the lesson really lies; whatever is in your heart as a desire to
achieve, whatever is your goal, whatever is your ambition, no matter the
difficulty, irrespective of how hopeless the situation could be, DONT BURY IT
YET!
It is even possible for you to have started pursuing your goals but
due to one reason or the other, the vision got truncated. Don’t be dismayed, don’t
be disillusioned, there is still every possibility that it can shoot-up again DON’T
JUST BURY IT YET, go and pick it up. It has the potential to still resuscitate!
We have just 4 months remaining in this year and I am sure quite a number of us started this year with some goals that we want to achieve. It is very possible that some of us have not achieved the most important ones or even achieved anyone yet. However, I make bold to let you know that I know God…..between now and 31st of December 2012 is too long a period for my God to turn things around for your sake! Something supernatural can still take place and your dead visions can come alive, your dead dreams can still see the light of the new day, DONT LOOSE HOPE YET…DON’T BURY IT YET!
Anytime there is a giant breakthrough on the way, devil tries to bring obstacles but irrespective of his obstacles, no matter how long it takes, in as much as we have the God factor there, hey....Jesus...victory is sure. It therefore shows a mere display of cowardice to let it go just like that. God loves us too much to make us unfulfilled in life. DON’T BURRY IT YET! God bless and have a fulfilled month.

Indeed in pursuance of your aims, you may come to many as stupid and irrational. However, that is the tonic you might just need to go on with your aspirations to conquer.
